Noyo Fish Company is a casual waterfront eatery perched right on Fort Bragg’s harbor pier, offering diners a chance to enjoy fresh seafood with a view of moored boats and the bustling fishing activity nearby. The setup is informal—order inside and then settle in at one of the outdoor tables, many equipped with heat lamps to keep things comfortable when the coastal breeze turns cool. It’s a spot that fits well on a sunny afternoon but stays inviting on chillier days thanks to these thoughtful touches.

The menu centers on straightforward, hearty seafood dishes with a West Coast tilt. Baja fish tacos, clam chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl, and a variety of fried and grilled fish and shrimp options capture the essence of coastal comfort food here. Portions are generous and fill the plate with familiar flavors rather than fancy or experimental preparations. Alongside the food, pints and pitchers of local draft beer or a crisp hard cider complement the meal well for those looking to linger, soak in the harbor views, and unwind.

Expect a quick turnaround on orders—the kitchen moves efficiently to get food out in about 10 minutes, making it convenient for families, day trippers, or locals wanting a solid seafood fix without a long wait. The vibe leans toward the practical and relaxed rather than polished; it’s a place where fishing boots meet casual diners, and dogs are welcome companions. With tables right on the pier’s edge, there’s a steady pulse of maritime life in the backdrop, which adds to the experience more than any decor could.

  • Best for: Casual seafood lunches or early dinners with harbor views and fresh air
  • Who it suits: Visitors seeking local seafood classics without fuss, families with kids, dog owners, and folks wanting a quick, hearty meal after exploring the waterfront
  • Ideal visit time: Midday through early evening, especially on brighter days when outdoor seating feels most inviting

We were exploring by the harbor and saw this place and decided to try it for dinner. They have outside seating, but heat lamps help with the cold. You order inside and then they bring it to you. Portions are big and they sell pitchers of good beer too. I had the chowder and the fish & chips. My husband had the fish tacos and he was impressed with the size if the tacos. We will be back.

I ordered clam chowder and beer. The clam chowder tasted quite ordinary, and the local draft beer was also fairly average. After placing an order and receiving a number, you can sit wherever you like, and the food will be brought to your table. The place is located on a pier where many boats are docked, offering peaceful views. Being outdoors, it feels like an especially great spot on a sunny day. It’s a place I would recommend, though finding a parking spot might be a bit difficult.

This place is pretty cool. You sit on the wharf right on the water. I got the prawn combo and it was pretty good. The fish tacos were also pretty good. They got the food out in like 10 minutes, so you get to eat fast. It was decently expensive, averaging around 19$.

The place itself is a fast food style casual spot, but the food is incredible. As someone from New England, the clam chowder was excellent with lots of potato and clam chunks. The fish was fried to perfection.

Enjoyed a delicious lip smacking lunch here, the Baja fish tacos are a must try, shrimp quesadilla with really yummy not too much cheese in it which is how I like it, the sauces and the salsa over the tacos are really fresh and great combo, deep fried oysters are a must try, even tried a cup of the clam chowder. My photos won’t do justice to the taste of the food, dog friendly place, lovely location, parking available and generous food portions.

The best fish and chips I've ever had. Such fresh, flaky fish. Great fries too. Really good fries. Enormous tacos. The staff are all business. The prices are pretty good too. You get a big basket of super good battered and seasoned fries with wonderful tartar sauce and the BEST fish (4 pieces of wild caught rock cod).

Every time I visit Fort Bragg, this restaurant is an absolute must-stop! It may not look like much from the outside, but don’t let that fool you — the food, atmosphere, and views are amazing. The service is quick, the wait times are short, and the fried fish, prawns, and fry basket are always hot, fresh, and full of flavor. All seating is outdoors, with plenty of picnic tables and my favorite spot — an outdoor bar with stools overlooking the harbor. While you eat, you can watch sea lions and harbor seals floating by, and during my last visit, I even saw a river otter! The view of the fishing boats and working harbor adds such a unique, coastal charm. They give you a generous serving of crispy fries, and everything comes out piping hot. The whole setting has a chill yet vibrant vibe that makes you want to sit and stay awhile. There’s even a convenient outdoor restroom available for guests, which is a nice touch for such a casual, seaside spot. I always leave with a big smile on my face and can’t wait to come back again. Truly one of the most memorable and relaxing dining spots in Fort Bragg!

If you’re looking for a solid meal that comes in quick and very filling, this is the spot! Friendly workers and their fish & chips is one of the best I’ve had. The clam chowder is full of clams and very tasty. Highly recommend getting lunch or dinner here if you’re in the Fort Bragg area.
